Double Award at RadTech Europe 2015 for Sandra Schlögl and Simone Radl
Sandra Schlögl of Polymer Compentence Center Leoben GmbH has won the RTE Paul Dufour Award for the best paper with the title "Formation of 3D Strucutres in Offset Printing Techniques by UV Induced Foaming of Inks" at RTE Conference 2015. The Paul Dufour Award is given to the most innovative paper which is presented at RTE Conference.The Conference Programme Committee selects from a high number of contributions which present the latest UV/EB technologies and applications and which are based on the highest scientific and technical level. The award was named after Paul Dufour, who was one of the founding members of RadTech.
Simone Radl (Polymer Competence Center Leoben GmbH) has won the Advanced Development Award 2015 for her presentation "Smart Photoswitchable Composite Materials for Selfhealing and Recycling Strategies". The competition for this award emphazises all fields of industry of UV/EB technology, f. e. UV or EB hardening inks, coatings or adhesives which are used in printing processes, production or construction. RadTech awards researchers with the most outstanding and most innovative developments in the field of UV/EB technologies.
